Calgary Stampede is a one of a kind event that takes place in Canada and boasts ten days of rodeo, grandstand evening shows, fireworks, rides, food, exhibitions, cowboys, agriculture events, motocross jumps and live music, amongst many other things. During Stampede, live music is heard across all of Stampede Park, with over 300 performers from the world of rock royalty and country music playing, in addition to the newest rising stars taking the stage to show what they are all about.
This year, like every year, the lineup for the Coca-Cola Stage and Nashville North (country music) was incredible, including headliners like: Alexisonfire, Elle King, Broken Social Scene, Daniel Caesar, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Phantogram, Our Lady Peace, Sheryl Crow, Walk off the Earth, Lights, Too Many Zooz, The Funk Hunters, Billy Talent, Gord Bamford, Petric, Meghan Patrick, Randy Houser, LOCASH, The Road Hammers, James Barker Band, the Washboard Union, The Dungarees, River Town Saints, and Living Thomas.
Big Four Roadhouse featured artists like Blue Rodeo, Mocking Shadows, Dead Flowers, Sloan, Steven Page, Platinum Blonde, 54.40, The Boom Booms, Choir! Choir! Choir!, Dueling Piano Kings, and Northern Touch Allstarts.
Nashville North Stage
At the Saddledome arena, concerts by Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley caused huge crowds to enter Stampede Park gates. Between July 6th and 15th, 1,271,241 people went through the gates at Calgary Stampede Park.
