Kansas City’s premier music festival, Rockfest, returns for its 26th year and its second at the Kansas Speedway. Not only is this the Midwest’s largest music festival, it is the nations, if not the world’s, largest one day music festival with a crowd of more than 50,000 expected. This year’s Main Stage and overall Festival Headliner is Five Finger Death Punch. The Headliner for the Worth Harley Davidson Stage will be Underoath and the rest of the line-up consists of acts from the 80’s until today’s rock and metal.
Main Stage acts comprise of: Five Finger Death Punch, Ghost, Stone Temple Pilots, Vince Neil, Sevendust, I Prevail, Red Sun Rising and 10 Years.
Worth Harley Davidson Acts are: Underoath, Of Mice And Men, Butcher Babies, Miss May I, Powerman 5000, Shaman’s Harvest, Bad Wolves and Hyborian.
On a personal note, I am truly excited to see Sevendust (one of my all-time favourite bands) and Ghost.
Rockfest is June 2nd and tickets can be found at www.rockfestkc.com
