This year's Warped Tour is shaping up to be as heavy and as fun as ever. Since its initial show back in 1995, Warped Tour has always brought a good mix of bands across the U.S. every year. I was able to cover last years Warped Tour, which included acts such as Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Sleeping With Sirens, and Chelsea Grin.
As always it was a blast, with the only brief delay coming from some bad weather that only lasted about a half hour or so. Some of the bands on this year's lineup that stood out were bands such as GWAR, Hatebreed, CKY, and Bowling For Soup who drew in an older crowd.
I don’t think there is another music festival with a more diverse age group than the Warped Tour, which is one of the things that I love. The lineup always caters to both veteran Warped Tour visitors as well as new comers and that makes for a great music festival.
For some of the younger crowd acts such as Dance Gavin Dance, Andy Black of Black Veil Brides, Memphis May Fire, and Blessthefall are sure to attract a large gathering at The AT&T Center on a hot Summer day in the month of July.
